Hi Gang

Wow, it's great to be home. Home, where we don't have to prepare in advance for temperature changes. I love Hawaii. Home, where we don't have to worry too much about brush fires--cough, cough. Home, where I need to get myself in gear and get back to work. Oi! Yep, Herbalife training is over and so is my vacation. What is it that Lisa says? 'I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go."

Thank you to Kelli and Lita for making my trip to California a wonderful experience of learning and LiNK comraderie that I've missed since Kelli left us in the summer. Thank you, too, to Peter. My special friend who gleefully takes me to old-lady chain restaurants that serve pot pies, electronics stores, and grocery stores, etc. Folks, let me remind you that pot pies are dangerous. But those Mexican restaurants are awesome. YUM!

Hope you all are doing well. Nutrition class/Weight-Loss challenge begins next Wednesday. Gonna join us? Read on for more of the class details as posted by Kelli.

Believe. Achieve.

Believe. Achieve. was our theme at our Herbalife convention. Lita, Noe and I were able to connect over the weekend. We attended all training sessions available and brainstormed on LiNK’s next steps. Like our upcoming Weight Loss Challenge and Nutrition class that begins on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 for 8 weeks.

We will extend the nutrition class by two weeks for a longer session and have new material to share. Our Herbalife samplings will continue monthly where we can showcase products.

We are all anxious to reconnect with the seasoned Challengers and hear your process and activities you've been involved in. Plus we really want to see you.

Our Herbalife training was unbelievable and very enriching. Special recognition to our friends Cindy (Oahu) and Larry (North Carolina) for enhancing our LA trip. What’s a business trip without laughing?

LiNK in Los Angeles, California

We will be in LA this weekend to attend Herbalife's Extravaganza. It will be a time for business training, networking and introduction of new Herbalife products. I get to be with Lita and Noe for the long weekend. More details to come on highlights from our weekend.

Today's activity was great!

The walk/jog was awesome. Blaisdell Park has a great pathway. Those in attendance: Nalani and her son Kamaha'o, Devon, Lita and her granddaughters Kainani and Makana and myself.

We walked and jogged for about an hour. Everyone said they enjoyed themselves; but, yes, it was a bit challenging to walk briskly for 10 minutes and then mildly jog for 5 minutes. Of course, the 5 minutes of jogging FELT like 10 minutes.

Honestly, I really enjoyed it. Thank you all for a very enjoyable exercise session. Noe

Personal Recipes - Herbalife Shakes

My clients are sharing their shake concoctions with me and I thought I'd add that to our blog. They are so creative they named their drink, try the Deborah Maria and the Mailani.

Deborah Maria
2 scoops of Dutch Chocolate Formula 1 Shake mix
8 - 10 ounces of vanilla soy milk
Cinnamon to taste

Shake, chill, shake and drink.

Mailani
2 scoops of a blend of three Formula 1 Shake mix flavors (1 scoop Dutch Chocolate, 2/3 scoop French Vanilla and 1/3 scoop Cafe Latte)
1 Tablespoon Herbalife Personalized Protein Powder
4 ounces of water
5 ounces of 2% milk
2 ice cubes

Shake and drink.
