I read a Washington Post article that says the squirrels are eating pumpkins, bird seeds, rummaging in trash because their natural food like acorn and hickory are in short supply. The scientists are not sure what may be the reason but it was an interesting article.
Okay this entry is a lil off track but its informative. Have a good day.

Interesting, but alarming as well. Thanks for sharing.
I'm guessing the squirrel population has increased dramatically, while hickory and acorn numbers remain the same. What-cha think?
I read that the trees produce their nuts as it relates to the weather. For instance, if there is less rain for the season then it would trigger the trees to produce more nuts to repopulate.
It shows that everything is interconnected.
The weather is affecting my hair, it's curlier than normal.
