How Does Prune Mui Sound?

I was given a wonderful box of dried fruit from my friend Adam for the holidays. I did not take a before picture because I was too excited to make prune mui.
This batch of dried fruits include prunes, apricots, cherries, pears, and I exercised my creative license and threw in persimmons and pineapple. I found a recipe on Honolulu Weekly and used a little more of the whiskey than it called for. Yipeee.
Ono yeah!

You cooked your fruits? Oi! That's a new way to make prune mui. Thought 'ya cook the sauce then add to the jars of fruits. How'd it taste. Looks good.
